I cracked the recipe for Anas’s favorite snack! Nothing makes me happier than creating snacks for the kids with a minimal ingredients list. And these came out just perfect, almost the same as Anas’s favorite store bought ones.You can make them with or without seed butter (avoid peanut butter at school). Both are absolutely delicious!This recipe made 16 walnut sized balls, you can make them a tiny bit smaller but the baking times needs to be adjusted. .post-type-image{display:none;}

Continue ReadingOn my last trip to Lebanon, i tried the most delicious kibbeh at a restaurant called @jouliabeirut. The owner Jad is from the north and this 1 layer kibbeh (mamdoudeh or spread kibbeh) is a specialty from the region. The topping reminded me of the famous pissaladière tart. It is SO DELICIOUS!I decorated it with lamb lettuce (ba’leh) and pomegranate seeds to create a contrast in flavor and in color.
