A delicious dessert inspired by the famous banana pudding and surprisingly it’s super easy to make! And as all of my favorite Ramadan dishes, it can be made ahead of time. I use powdered custard but feel free to use whichever custard you like!

Continue ReadingCan we all agree that not all trends are created equal? Some are actually useful and delicious_ such as this crispy rice! Transform any salad into a crunchy, exciting one simply by upscaling your leftover rice into little crispy, flavorful bites. I used nutritional yeast to add benefits and umami flavors (and because I had some at home!!). Otherwise all you need is some olive oil, dried herbs and an oven or air fryer. A great way to use your leftover rice.

You have to try it to understand the beauty of this dish. The warmth of the cinnamon and the flowery orange blossom brings out an incredible sweetness in the oranges. I also used some small sweet clementines…
