The most delicious granola bars, chewy, crunchy and so yummy. Warning: they are extremely addictive!They are based on a @nigellalawson recipe. She uses cranberries but I used dark chocolate chips instead . She also uses peanuts, I used cashew nuts but I am sure you can use whatever nut you have at home.

That is a cake that I worked on during those days where I was wishing and praying for a better future for our Lebanon. This cake is not gluten free but you can definitely substitute the spelt flour with a gluten free cake flour of your choice. Although spelt isn’t gluten free, it is easier to digest.

Deep fry at 180-190C, drain on kitchen towel then toss in caster sugar (with or without cinnamon). And THAT is it!watch out from oil splattering when frying!!!
