They are based on a @nigellalawson recipe. She uses cranberries but I used dark chocolate chips instead . She also uses peanuts, I used cashew nuts but I am sure you can use whatever nut you have at home.

The most delicious granola bars, chewy, crunchy and so yummy. Warning: they are extremely addictive!
They are based on a @nigellalawson recipe. She uses cranberries but I used dark chocolate chips instead . She also uses peanuts, I used cashew nuts but I am sure you can use whatever nut you have at home.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (397grs) sweetened condensed milk
- 250grs rolled oats, (not instant oats)
- 75grs shredded coconut
- 100grs dark chocolate chips , (or roughly chopped dark chocolate)
- 125grs mixed seeds, (such as sunflower, sesame, pumpkin)
- 125grs raw cashew, roughly chopped (you can also use peanuts)

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 130C
- 2)
Oil a baking tray with a bit of an edge (23cm x 33cm)

Gently warm the condensed milk in a pan.
- 4)
In a big bowl, mix all of the other ingredients until combined.
- 5)
Add the warmed condensed milk and mix well with a rubber spatula making sure to coat everything well with the milk.

Transfer to the baking tray and press down gently with the back of a spoon or the spatula.
- 7)
Bake for 45min up to an hour, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- 8)
Wait until it us a bit cooled, cut into squares but leave them in the pan until completely cooled.
Notes
Store in an airtight container.
