Now that summer is here, there is nothing more refreshing than an açaí smoothie breakfast bowl. They are as beautiful as they are delicious and so versatile! The BOSCH OptiMUM kitchen appliance from @boschhomegulf made it so easy to make them and in a fraction of the time. It has an integrated scale, a food processor and a blender. All the attachments have color coding for ease of use and the machine is super powerful to chop nuts and blend frozen fruits. Bosch Açai breakfast bowls

For 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 100 grs shelled pistachios
  • 200 grs frozen bananas (use some very ripe bananas, cut them up and place in a ziplock in the freezer)
  • 200 grs frozen açai puree, unsweetened
  • 50 ml coconut water (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tsp chia seeds

Method

  • 1)

    Some lemom juice to avoid the apples from discoloring

  • 2)

    banana slices, granola, shredded coconut, seeds, chopped pistachios, blueberries and extra peanut butter.

  • 3)

    Use the food blender to roughly chop the pistachio.

  • 4)

    Reserve the pistachios in a small bowl, and proceeded to the rest of the recipe without cleaning the food blender.

  • 5)

    Blend the frozen bananas until nice and creamy. Transfer to a small bowl and place in the freezer.

  • 6)

    Next, blend the frozen açai purée with the coconut water and the chia seeds. Transfer to a small bowl and place in the freezer.

  • 7)

    Now using the thick chopping blade of the food processor, shred the 2 apples. Squeeze half a lemon on them to avoid them turning dark.

  • 8)

    Next, either using a rubber spatula or the rubber beater attachment and blend the 2 frozen purées with the peanut butter and honey.

  • 9)

    Serve immediately topped with toppings of your choice!
