Deep fry at 180-190C, drain on kitchen towel then toss in caster sugar (with or without cinnamon). And THAT is it!watch out from oil splattering when frying!!! Continue ReadingDate dhibs cookies, vanilla gelato and vanilla date dhibs. I was experimenting with some delicious, organic date dhibs that @bateelgourmet gifted me. The cookies didn’t come out exactly as I wanted. I was after chewy and moist but as I significantly tried to reduce the fat, they came out more like cake, like pain d’épices. So I thought to transform them into delicious ice cream sandwiches, more whoopie pies style using our favorite vanilla @canvas.gelato.
