Continue ReadingI came across this recipe on the gram and saw many different variations on the basic yogurt + flour combo. Ratios varied, flours different from gf to self raising to plain. After a couple of attempts, i found the ratio that worked best for me. And as i had vanilla yogurt at hand, i decided to roll these baby doughnuts in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. I also stuffed them with Lotus (spéculos) spread. They were very crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. I cant wait to try this recipe with a savory variation!

You can make it without butter but i feel it adds creaminess to the chickpeas. Serve it with extra cumin, crunchy veggies, olive oil and soft arabic bread. Yum!
