The most delicious, sticky miso tahini salmon. I used the same glaze from my previous recipe but adjusted it a bit to work as a marinade. Perfect for entertaining: easy and super impressive!
Ingredients
- 1 kg Salmon, Cut into fillets or kept whole
- 1/2 cup Tahini paste
- 3 tsp Miso paste, (i used barley miso)
- 5 tsp Soya sauce
- 4 tsp Sesame oil
- 1.5 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
- 2 tsbp Maple syrup
- 2 Green onion, Sliced, to garnish
- 1 tsp Toasted sesame seed, to garnish
- Salt flakes, to sprinkle, optional

Method
- 1)
Preheat the oven to 200C
- 2)
Prepare a large oven proof baking dish
- 3)
In a medium bowl, whisk together the tahini, miso, soy, sesame oil, ginger and garlic paste and honey. You can taste and adjust the seasoning at this stage. Keep aside.
- 4)
Place the salmon im the baking dish, cover with the miso mix and massage it in until every bit is covered in this thick, sticky, delicious mixture.
- 5)
Leave to marinade for a minimum of 30min up to 3 hours.
- 6)
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25min until the edges are golden. Don’t over bake it.
