These guilt free chocolate banana bites are like a cheeky cross between banana bread and healthier brownies. Super easy to make with any flour or milk of your choice- just don't over bake!
INGREDIENTS
Wet Mixture
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 Medium Very Ripe Bananas, Mashed
- ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- ½ Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- ¼ Cup Coconut Oil
- ¼ Cup Milk Of Choice, (Vegan or Dairy)
Dry Mixture
- 1 ½ Cups Oats, Rolled Or Porridge
- 1 ¼ Cups Buckwheat Flour, Or Oat Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Pinch Of Salt
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C
Line an 8×8” pan
In a medium bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients.
In another large bowl, mix the dry ingredients except the chocolate.
Combine both using a large spoon or a rubber spatula. Fold in the chocolate at the end.
Transfer to the lined baking tin. Smoothen the top while pressing the batter into the corners.Bake for 20-22 min until a skewer comes out clean but with some crumbs. Don’t over bake.
Flip onto a flat tray and slice into squares. When completely cool, transfer into an airtight container.
Notes
Keep for 3-4 days at room temperature.
