Cake or quick chocolate and banana oat bake?

I was inspired by the wonderfully versatile recipe of @zoe.nogluten to create this delicious breakfast. Super satisfying, extremely easy and can be prepared ahead of time. I had it with more Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon. How will you make yours?

I was inspired by the wonderfully versatile recipe of @zoe.nogluten to create this delicious breakfast. Super satisfying, extremely easy and can be prepared ahead of time. I had it with more Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon. How will you make yours?

Ingredients

  • 100 g oats
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 150 g low-fat, high-protein Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter powder (or regular peanut butter- optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp honey (or agave syrup)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Flaked almonds for topping

Method

  • 1)

    Baking dish 27 x 20cm

  • 2)

    Preheat your oven to 180°C (I used the air fryer)

  • 3)

    In the baking dish, combine the oats, almond flour, Greek yogurt, peanut butter powder, cocoa powder, and honey.

  • 4)

    Mix until everything is well incorporated, spreading it evenly.

  • 5)

    Arrange the banana slices on top of the mixture.

  • 6)

    Sprinkle flaked almonds over the top.

  • 7)

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

  • 8)

    Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
