    Crispy Rice and Viral Trends

    June 4, 2025pub

Can we all agree that not all trends are created equal? Some are actually useful and delicious_ such as this crispy rice! Transform any salad into a crunchy, exciting one simply by upscaling your leftover rice into little crispy, flavorful bites. I used nutritional yeast to add benefits and umami flavors (and because I had some at home!!). Otherwise all you need is some olive oil, dried herbs and an oven or air fryer. A great way to use your leftover rice.

    Zaatar and Figs Scones

Food and flavors stir my emotions, my nostalgia. The combination of sweet, sticky Lebanese figs dipped in salty and sour zaatar transports me back to Lebanon, to evenings spent with my parents on their balcony. This combination reminds me of my dad specially. This and eggs with garlic and sumac. Maybe that should be next?Makes 8-10
