Salt and olive oil! Would you try this Michelin Star hack? Try adding salt and olive oil to a fruit salad to bring out the flavors of the fruits. I also added lemon zest and mint as well , it was so delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 nectarines, sliced
- 1 medium ripe mango, peeled and sliced
- A handful of blueberries
- A handful of pomelo segments
- Fresh mint leaves
- A pinch of salt
- Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
- Optional: crumbled goat cheese, feta, or burrata

Method
- 1)
Wash and prepare the fruits. Slice the nectarines and mango into strips, and remove any seeds or pits.
- 2)
In a large bowl, gently combine the sliced nectarines, mango, blueberries, and pomelo segments.
- 3)
Tear a few fresh mint leaves and sprinkle them over the fruit mixture.
- 4)
Season with salt and olive oil: Sprinkle a pinch of salt evenly over the fruit mixture. This might sound unusual, but a small amount of salt enhances the natural sweetness of the fruits.
- 5)
Next, drizzle a small amount of extra virgin olive oil over the salad. The olive oil will add richness and depth to the flavors.
- 6)
If you’re using cheese, crumble goat cheese, feta, or burrata over the top of the fruit salad.
