Labneh and Makdous, another super easy dish that can be part of your meals for iftar, dinner mezza or suhoor! I love preparing it ahead of time and then the leftovers become a delicious dip. Try to get the best homemade Lebanese makdous you can find.
Ingredients
- 500g Lebanese labneh
- 1/2 cup eggplant makdous, chopped
- 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Some fresh zaatar leaves to decorate (optional)
- Olive oil to serve

Method
- 1)
Spread the labneh on a serving dish, leaving grooves to catch the oil.
- 2)
Scatter and pile the chopped makdous in the center and the chopped walnuts around it.
- 3)
Drizzle with olive oil.
- 4)
Decorate with zaatar leaves.
- 5)
Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
