I have never tried the addition of yogurt in my bread dough but this technique makes some incredibly soft and crispy breads! Thank you @chefjjskitchen for sharing!
Ingredients
- 3 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup of water

Method
- 1)
In a bowl of a mixer with the hook attachment (or by hand) mix all the ingredients and gradually add the water.
- 2)
You may need to add a little more so you get a nice bouncy and not too sticky dough.
- 3)
Drizzle some olive oil on it and let it rest covered for an hour somewhere warm.
- 4)
Once it has doubled in size, divide into 8 pieces, roll into balls on a floured surface. Keep the balls covered with a clean tea towel.
- 5)
Flatten and dust with flour then roll it with a rolling pin.
- 6)
Cover with a towel and let them proof for 15-20 minutes.
- 7)
Heat up a pan. Place the dough and keep flipping every 10 seconds.
- 8)
Gently press on the bubble towards the rest of the dough to create an air pocket.
- 9)
Enjoy warm!
