When I saw these Crispy Air Fryer prawns dumplings on @maxiskitchen I knew I had to make them asap! Tweaked the recipe a bit, added mushrooms and they were absolutely delicious! Perfect for parties.
Ingredients
- 450g peeled and deveined prawns, chopped
- 200g mushrooms, sautéed and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper or piment d´espelette
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 12-15 rice paper sheets
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- Sesame seeds
For the Sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili oil
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil

For 24-30 dumplings

In a bowl, mix shrimp, mushrooms, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, salt, pepper, sesame oil, and soy sauce.

Soak rice paper wrappers in hot water for about 10 seconds, then place on a damp paper towel.
- 4)
Cut the rice paper in half, place 1 tbsp of the shrimp mixture in the middle of each piece, and fold to create a triangle shape.
- 5)
Drizzle avocado oil on the air fryer basket, then add the dumplings.
- 6)
Air fry at 200C for 13-15 minutes until shrimp is pink and bottoms are golden brown.
- 7)
Broil for 2-3 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

To make the sauce, mix all the ingredients together, shake and serve alongside the dumplings!
