This (almost flourless) chocolate cake is perfect for small dinners or part or a bugger dessert selection. It’s tender, dense, chocolatey but light with only 20g of flour. Save this recipe!
Ingredients
- 120g dark chocolate
- 120g unsalted butter
- 20g plain flour
- 20g almond powder
- 3 large eggs
- 100g soft light brown sugar

Method

Preheat oven to 135C
- 2)
Line a deep 17cm tin with parchment paper
- 3)
Melt chocolate and butter.
- 4)
Whisk eggs with sugar until the mixture doubles in volume. Use electric beaters or a stand alone mixer if possible.
- 5)
Add cooled melted chocolate and butter and gently fold in.
- 6)
Add flour + almond powder, fold gently.
- 7)
Pour the batter into pan.
- 8)
Bake for 30 minutes at 135°C until risen and not super giggly.

You can adjust the baking time according to your oven and preference.
