If you need a light and quick dessert that you can prepare ahead of time, try this delicious chestnut mousse. I made it with low fat cream, honey and 0% fat Greek yogurt. You can use regular cream and more chestnut cream and honey for a more indulgent dessert.
Ingredients
- 250 ml 0% Greek yogurt
- 200 ml low-fat cream (or regular whipping cream)
- 2 to 3 tbsp of honey
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- 100 g chestnut cream or chestnut jam

Method
- 1)
In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, chestnut cream and vanilla extract. Whisk them well until smooth.
- 2)
In a separate bowl, whip the low-fat cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- 3)
Gently fold the whipped cream into the Greek yogurt mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- 4)
Once the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
- 5)
Refrigerate the chestnut mousse for at least 3 hours or until it’s set.
- 6)
Before serving, you can garnish with dark chocolate shards and festive sprinkles. Serve with extra chestnut cream if you like.
