These 3 Ramadan appetizers are super delicious, crowd pleasing and ready in under 30min. They are made using premium ingredients and super quick and easy to put together – I promise you will love them!

Ingredients

Chunky walnut labneh

  • 2 cups labneh
  • 100g raw walnuts, finely chopped
  • A handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Micro greens or fresh herbs
  • Extra walnuts for garnish
  • Olive oil
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Hummus with walnuts & pomegranate seeds

  • 400g ready made hummus
  • Walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 pomegranate seeds
  • Micro greens or parsley
  • Olive oil

Warm Tomato Chutney Dip

  • 200g tomato passata
  • 400g can of peeled plum tomatoes
  • 6 dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 tbsp date molasses
  • Pinch chili flakes
  • Salt to taste

Method

For the Chunky walnut labneh

  • 1)

    Pulse the walnuts in a blender or chopper until they resemble coarse breadcrumbs. Do not over blend into powder.

  • 2)

    Mix the labneh with the crushed walnuts and season with salt. Spread in a serving plate.

  • 3)

    Top with tomatoes, mint leaves, microgreens and extra walnuts.

  • 4)

    Finish with a generous drizzle of olive oil.

Hummus with walnuts & pomegranate seeds

  • 1)

    Spread the hummus in a shallow serving plate.

  • 2)

    Sprinkle walnuts on top and pomegranate seeds on top.

  • 3)

    Finish with microgreens and olive oil.

Warm Tomato Chutney Dip

  • 1)

    Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.

  • 2)

    Simmer on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened and glossy.

  • 3)

    Taste and adjust salt.

  • 4)

    Serve warm in a bowl.

  • 5)

    Make a ginger cordial with sparkling water and add 2 tbsp of chia seeds and lots of ice cubes.
