Easiest and most delicious frosted vanilla cupcakes. I poked a little hole in the top of the cupcake that i filled with the frosting ans decorated the top with dried petals of edible flowers.
A lined 12 holes cupcake tin
Preheat the oven to 180C
Sift all the dry ingredients into the bowl of an mixer.
Add the soft butter and beat together until you get a sandy consistency and everything is well mixed together.
In a jug, place the milk, vanilla and whisk in the egg.
Gradually beat in the milk into the flour mixture, scrapping the sides as you go along.
Mix until smooth but Make sure not to overmix.
Pour into the cupcake cases. Only fill up to 2/3.
Place in preheated oven, reduce to 170C and bake for about 20-25 min until golden on top, springy to touch and skewer comes out clean.
Transfer to a cooling rack.
