Toasted Coconut and Almond Butter with cocoa, a super quick and healthy spread! Use it on crackers or with cut fruits.
Ingredients
- 400 g raw almonds
- 6 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp of agave or honey (optional)

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C.
- 2)
Spread the raw almonds on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8 min until fragrant and lightly golden brown.

Add the desiccated coconut to the same baking sheet and carefully toast for 2-3 min until lightly golden. Be careful not to burn it.
- 4)
Add the toasted almonds and coconut to a blender or food processor and let them cool for a few minutes.
- 5)
Add cocoa powder, and agave or honey (if using) to the almonds and coconut and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- 6)
Transfer the mixture to a jar and store in the refrigerator.
