Pear and blue cheese, baked. A delicious and super impressive appetizer that is super easy to prepare. You can actually have the pears stuffed and ready and bake before serving.

Pear and blue cheese, baked. A delicious and super impressive appetizer that is super easy to prepare. You can actually have the pears stuffed and ready and just bake before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 firm pears, halved and cored
  • 50grs blue cheese, of your choice
  • 1 tbsp pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • Velouté de balsamic (@maille), or any thick balsamic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • A handful of baby rocket

METHOD

  • 1)

    Preheat your oven to 180 ,I used my air fryer.

  • 2)

    Stuff the halved pears with the crumbled blue cheese.

  • 3)

    If using the oven, place the pears in an oven proof dish and cover on aluminum and bale for 20min, then uncover and broil for 5min.

  • 4)

    If using an air fryer, place the pears on a piece of baking paper on a piece of aluminum and seal the parcel (en papillote). Bake at 200C for 10 min then open the foil and bake for another 10min.

  • 5)

    Serve on the rocket

  • 6)

    Sprinkle with the crushed pecans.

  • 7)

    Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic.

Notes

Season with salt and pepper if needed.
