I remember very well, sitting with my parents, watching tv and mom would peel us juicy and sweet oranges. I am always reluctant about peeling them but if someone hands me these juicy fruits that I adore ready peeled- I’m in heaven!
Actually, orange blossom is one of my favorite scents.
This dessert is Moroccan inspired, although Spain has something similar called Naranjas con Canela. You have to try it to understand the beauty of this dish. The warmth of the cinnamon and the flowery orange blossom brings out an incredible sweetness in the oranges. I also used some small sweet clementines for a contrast of colors, sizes and extra sweetness.
