Levain cookies recipe . These are the ultimate, ever so popular and delicious chocolate chip cookies!
INGREDIENTS
- 115g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 110g soft dark brown sugar
- 50g caster sugar
- 1 large egg, cold
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 190g type 00 flour
- ½ tsp cornstarch
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp coarse sea salt
- 100g dark chocolate chips
- 90g milk chocolate chunks

Preheat your oven to 200C

Line 2 baking trays wife baking paper

Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. You can use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or an electric hand mixer. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure all his well incorporated.
