The most refreshing and quick drink to have during hot days. What I love about ice tea is that you can making using ingredients you have at home and any leftover summer fruits. You can even add mint or rosemary and make it using herbal teas for an afternoon drink!

The most refreshing and quick drink to have during hot days. What I love about ice tea is that you can making using ingredients you have at home and any leftover summer fruits. You can even add mint or rosemary and make it using herbal teas for an afternoon drink!

Ingredients

  • 3 teabags of breakfast tea
  • 2 mugs of boiling water
  • Sugar to taste
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Half a lemon, sliced
  • Half a peach, sliced into 4-5 slices
  • 1 liter (about 4 cups) of cold water
  • Ice cubes

Method

  • 1)

Place the 3 teabags in a heatproof jug or teapot.

  • 2)

Pour the 2 mugs of boiling water over the teabags.

  • 3)

Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.

  • 4)

Remove the teabags and stir in sugar to taste while the tea is still hot. Set aside to cool slightly.

  • 5)

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the brewed tea.

  • 6)

Slice the remaining half of the lemon into thin slices.

  • 7)

Slice the peach into 4-5 slices.

  • 8)

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, 1 liter of cold water, lemon slices, and peach slices.

  • 9)

Add a generous amount of ice cubes to the pitcher.

  • 10)

    Enjoy!
