I had to try the frozen yogurt bites with berries trend. I used 0% high protein fat and no extra honey. They were delicious and very light! Next time I will try them with a touch if honey and a creamier yogurt- just to see the difference.

I had to try the frozen yogurt bites with berries trend. I used 0% high protein fat and no extra honey. They were delicious and very light! Next time I will try them with a touch if honey and a creamier yogurt- just to see the difference.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust according to taste)
  • 200 g dark chocolate

Method

  • 1)

In a bowl, mix the fresh raspberries, pomegranate seeds, Greek yogurt, and a bit of honey (1-2 tablespoons) according to your taste. Stir well to combine.

  • 2)

Line a tray with baking paper. Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, place small mounds or tablespoons of the yogurt and fruit mixture on the lined tray.

  • 3)

Transfer the tray to the freezer and let the yogurt bites freeze completely, which usually takes about an hour or so.

  • 4)

Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth.

  • 5)

Once the yogurt bites are frozen, take them out from the freezer. Using two forks, quickly dip each yogurt bite into the melted chocolate, coating them evenly. Shake off any excess chocolate before placing them back on the tray.

  • 6)

You can serve the yogurt bites immediately. Otherwise, you can return the tray to the freezer and keep the bites frozen until you’re ready to serve them.

  • 7)

Enjoy the frozen yogurt bites as a tasty and refreshing treat!
