Three super easy, delicious and quick recipes that are perfect for post iftar snacking. Dried fruits and nuts, chocolate, fruity cordials and crunchy oats! What will you make first?

Ingredients

  • 100gr milk or dark chocolate, melted over a Bain marie - @benoit.ingredients
  • A mix of dried bananas, chopped dried mangoes, chopped dried figs and apricots and walnuts - @seeberger_1844
  • Oat flakes @bjorgofficiel and sea salt @labaleinearabia, to decorate.

Dried fruits salad

  • 1/4 apricots
  • 1/4 cup dried mango
  • 1/4 cup dried figs
  • 1/4 cup prunes
  • 1/4 cup walnuts- chopped, @seeberger_1844
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup or raspberry and lemon cordial, from @belvoirfarm_uk
  • 1-2 tsp orange blossom
  • 2 cups rolled oats, from @bjorgofficiel
  • 1 cup of raw sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds
  • pinch of sea salt, from @labaleinearabia
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of date syrup, from @date_crown_uae
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

  • 1)

    Place in a lined pan of your choice and cover with the melted chocolate, making sure the chocolate goes well between the chopped fruits and nuts so they stick together.

  • 2)

    Sprinkle salt and oat flakes if desired. Chill they cut into chunks and enjoy.

  • 1)

    Mix everything together transfer to a bowl and cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Enjoy cold.

  • 2)

    Quick granola with date syrup

  • 3)

    Preheat the oven at 170C

  • 1)

    Mix well with a rubber spatula, transfer to a lined baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20min

  • 2)

    Mix then return it again to the oven for a further 15-20 min or until completely dry, golden and crisp.

  • 3)

    Be careful not to burn it!

  • 4)

    Allow the granola to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
