Chia pudding bowl, my favorite thing to have for breakfast for many reasons:

1- you can prepare the base in advance
2- last 3-4 days in the fridge
3- super good for you
4- can be adapted to whatever ingredients you have at home

Chia pudding bowl, my favorite thing to have for breakfast

Ingredients

Basic chia pudding

  • 1 cup milk of choice (we like coconut)
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla OR 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method

  • 1)

    Place in a small glass container with a tight fitting lid. Shake and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.

  • 2)

    Mix (or shake) 2 more times every 15 minutes.

  • 3)

    Keep in the fridge.

  • 4)

    We like to add a fruit, some low fat Greek yogurt, homemade granola, seeds, and a nut butter.

  • 5)

    For this specific bowl, i made it with double the quantity of chia pudding, added a grated pear, some granola, Greek yogurt, pumpkin seeds, dates with aniseeds and a sprinkling of dried zaatar (thyme – be careful without salt not sesame).

  • 6)

    Feel free to mix and match bananas with peanut butter, blueberries with compote… The options are endless!
