The best homemade and foolproof pizza recipe, with a crust that reminds me of wood oven baked pizzas!
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp instant dry yeast
- 1.5 tsp sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 300 ml good quality pizza sauce (such as @pomi_middleeast)
- 300 grs shredded mozzarella
Method

Preheat your oven to 220C.
- 2)
If using a pizza stone, place it now in the oven in the upper part of the oven and preheat it for a minimum of 20min, ideally 30.
- 3)
Place the yeast, sugar and warm water in a small bowl, let it foam (about 5min).
- 4)
Next, in the bowl of your food processor and using the dough hook, place the flour, salt and oil.
- 5)
Mix on low-medium speed before slowly adding in the water-yeast mixture.

Knead on medium speed for 5-8min until the dough is smooth and springy.
- 7)
Transfer into an oiled bowl, cover and let it proof for 45min to an hour- until doubled in size.

Form into balls of your size preference, and using floured fingers on a floured surface, spread into a circular shape.
- 9)
Spread some tomato sauce and sprinkle cheese on top.
- 10)
Carefully transfer to the stone or otherwise bake on an inverted baking sheet.

Cook until the cheese is melted and the sides of the dough are nice and golden.
