These guilt free chocolate banana bites are like a cheeky cross between banana bread and healthier brownies. Super easy to make with any flour or milk of your choice- just don't over bake!

    INGREDIENTS

    Wet Mixture

    • 1 Large Egg
    • 2 Medium Very Ripe Bananas, Mashed
    • ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
    • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
    • ½ Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
    • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
    • ¼ Cup Coconut Oil
    • ¼ Cup Milk Of Choice, (Vegan or Dairy)

    Dry Mixture

    • 1 ½ Cups Oats, Rolled Or Porridge
    • 1 ¼ Cups Buckwheat Flour, Or Oat Flour
    • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
    • 1 Pinch Of Salt
    • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

    METHOD

    • Preheat oven to 180C

    • Line an 8×8” pan

    • In a medium bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients.

    • In another large bowl, mix the dry ingredients except the chocolate.

    • Combine both using a large spoon or a rubber spatula. Fold in the chocolate at the end.
Transfer to the lined baking tin. Smoothen the top while pressing the batter into the corners.

    • Bake for 20-22 min until a skewer comes out clean but with some crumbs. Don’t over bake.
Flip onto a flat tray and slice into squares. When completely cool, transfer into an airtight container.

    Notes

Keep for 3-4 days at room temperature.
